Can you believe we're more than half way through our 2 week project?? And we're completely in awe of everyone's lemonade spirit! Just look at the grins on the faces of the students at Cuyahoga Valley Career Center in Ohio. Their stand brought in $470.00 for pediatric cancer research!The students at Moreland Hills Elementary are still going strong. During day two of lemonade sales, they sold more than 1200 cups of lemonade! That's $649.85 for Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation! Here's what they wrote about their second day of fundraising:
It was hot on the playground today! The temperature was around 80 degrees and we got very busy! As soon as each grade level came out for recess, they rushed to buy tickets. Soon there were long lines and we were selling lemonade faster than we could make it. It was tiring but we knew we made a lot of money that day, so we were really excited.And Hopewell Memorial Junior High School has reported an additional $48.75 in lemonade sales -- bringing our grand reported total to $4823.89.
