Fantastic Wrap-Up Celebration and Way to Celebrate Our 2015 AVLS Project

WOW!! What an incredible and inspirational wrap-up celebration event yesterday! I am just in awe of all the wonderful work you and your kids put into your stands and your fundraising efforts! Each and every one of you made a difference by participating in this project and helping to increase awareness about childhood cancer and to raise desperately needed funds to help get closer to a cure!

First off - humongous thanks to our uber awesome and professional VJ team at Affiliated High School of Chung Hsing University!! You guys rocked it and were so incredible with your set changes and costumes and professional VJ'ing of our fast-paced celebration wrap-up event. Big thanks for all your hard work in making it all look and flow so beautifully! We are also grateful to you for bringing in your wonderful exotic guest performances, too!

If you missed a moment of our wrap-up celebration, you can always view the now archive at         Feel free to share this with parents, colleagues, administrators or in any follow-up posts you may do.

Please - if you haven't already, please email me the final exact total amount of money raised by your school/stand so that I can include it in our final tally for the ALSF foundation. Please let me know if you have any questions or concerns about how or where to send in your money raised.

Finally, we are over the moon excited that together we were able to raise over $8,000.00 dollars for the Alex's Lemonade Stand Foundation! This desperately needed money is helping to bring the latest and most promising life-saving treatments to seriously ill children and to help fund leading-edge cancer research that will one day lead to a cure to end childhood cancers worldwide. To learn more about where the money we raise goes please see http://www.alexslemonade.org/how-your-donation-helps

Thank you all for all the incredible work and effort that you and your students put into this project. Together, we are making a difference... one cup at a time.

Hope to see all of you next year in 2016!!

Week 1 Updates

We are getting some amazing reports after your first full week of fundraising and lemonade stands! You are all so amazing! Schools are doing an incredible job of making their lemonade stands exciting and creative and so fun!!

Moreland Hills Elementary students picked a sport theme "Kick Out Cancer!" for their stand this year!

Kinston High School had an awesome stand and got some fabulous press coverage too! You can read the full article here.

Hinsdale Elementary in Hinsdale NY exceeded their goal of $100 in their first day and so increased their goal to $400 and are still going strong!

And Broadway Elementary School in Gladewater Texas (who unfortunately could not join us for the videoconference events this year) has done an amazing job and raised over $4,000 at their lemonade stand this year - INCREDIBLE!!!

We cannot wait to hear all of our schools report out on Thursday May 21st at our Wrap-Up Celebration event! Won't you join us?

Anyone anywhere in the world can join the wrap-up celebration simply by web browser using the new Blue Jeans Primetime interactive streaming tool. Welcome to the 2015 Alex's Virtual Lemonade Stand Project

Welcome to the 2015 Alex's Virtual Lemonade Stand project!

We are THRILLED to have you all participating this year and look forward to working with you and your students in the coming weeks to help raise money and awareness to end childhood cancers around the world!!

NEW for 2015 is the ability to participate in two ways because of the Blue Jeans Primetime service we're using to connect schools:
Option #1 - Be an interactive participant and hold a lemonade stand fundraiser: Join the live interactive videoconference kick-off and wrap-up events and hold a lemonade stand in your community!
Option #2 - Be a non-stand participant and join the events live to watch the streams. You can always interact and ask questions too!

Either way, won't you join us to help raise money and awareness to help end pediatric cancers worldwide?
